Our non-executive director and former Royal Marine officer, Dr. Paul Kearney, has been shortlisted for the British Ex-Forces in Business Awards.
The Awards globally recognise the exceptional work that military veterans have achieved in their careers since leaving the Armed Forces. Not only do the awards showcase these business achievements, but also highlight the enormous breadth of military-gained values and skills that businesses can employ.
In Paul’s case, Push has been thrilled to experience his transformative aptitude for leadership, finding solutions and getting results. When asked by our CEO, Steve Hyde, Paul recounted the key military values to apply to business as: discipline, integrity and respect for others.
The “Commando Ethos”, explains Paul, is being the first to understand, adapt and overcome in any situation. This is something that Push has always strived for, with our key values of being “Always Ahead” and “Fast” forming an essential approach to how we operate in the dynamic and unpredictable environment that is digital marketing and advertising. Especially over the past couple of years where what used to work now doesn’t work, we have experienced the true importance of being able to adapt with both our team and our clients to overcome challenges and changes across multiple platforms.
By offering a new and strategic perspective, Paul has helped Push to play to our key strength: being open to exploring and implementing new opportunities to remain at the forefront of the digital landscape. This has not only championed our ability to stay “Always Ahead”, but has also cemented AdInvestor’s role in scaling Push to be able to work with a number of clients across a range of industries.
On being shortlisted, Paul stated, “It’s a real honour to be nominated for this award. The Commando Ethos is front and centre of what we are doing at Push; being at the frontier of such a dynamic environment every single day. We are adapting with our clients to overcome challenges – we embrace it, enjoy it, and get it done!”.
We are incredibly proud and excited to be working with Paul, and are wishing him the best of luck in the Awards.
